LGBTQI Short Films Curated by Queer Screen
This program of LGBTQI short films made for and by the LGBTQI community shares heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking stories designed to see the audience celebrate, reflect and share common ground. The films have been curated by Queer Screen and the screening is supported by Working It Out Australia, Intersex Support Australia and The Tasmanian Sate Government. The event is brought to you by the volunteers at Cygnet Community Arts Council.
Films to be screened include: My Brother is a Mermaid (UK), My Aunties (US), Break In (US), Acuitzeramo (US/Mexico), Kapaemahu (US), Pompeii (UK), and Wings (UK)
Trigger warning: some films include transphobia and strobe lighting.
Screenings will be held Saturday 2nd October 7pm
and our usual Market Day Matinee Sunday 3rd October 2.30pm
